God Has a Plan

What if I told you that God has a plan for you in less worldly successful places. I know this is shocking....but God doesn't look at our lives and say, "Well, you can't do X, because you don't have a piece of paper, aka. College Degree." Nopety, nopety, no! God doesn't measure what we are worth to the good of His kingdom based on what the world thinks. At the same time; to be following God you don't have to go to Africa to do humanitarian work. Unless God is calling you to do that, it isn't the ultimate "job" God has for you.

I'll be going to South Dakota, and this is in a really hard area. In the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, which is the poorest reservation in the nation. It is actually just as bad for some Lakota, as it is in India. I am called to be with my Family in this ministry. The point I am trying to make there is that you don't have to be in Africa to be serving the Lord by serving others. You can do it in your home, your church, your community, your city, your sink...........Yeah, you know what I mean, I can see the guilt!!!! Ok, in all seriousness, besides my artistic way of going off topic, I guess the point is that God has a plan for you NOW! Just as much as He will in the future for you.

So please, pretty please. Ugly please. ANY PLEASE. PRAY to Him, and ask what you can do for Him tomorrow.

Ok, back to the beginning. I know almost everybody pressures, and tells us that if we don't get a college degree, we will DIE!!!  I understand there are very, very important reasons to get certain ones. I mean, one of the only reasons I'd go to college would be for Theology. That is me. I just don't think our lives should be focused on college, or any worldly successful thing. I guess the bottom line is....do what God wants you to do! Funny how it all boils down to that. Weird.

Nauseated. Not nauseous!

Nauseated and nauseous. They are two different words, and everybody says 'I feel nauseous' when referring to feeling queasy. It used to be that Nauseated was the word for that, and Nauseous was used to refer to being annoying to the point of making someone feel Nauseated....(You know, like me!)

Nauseous = Causing nausea; sickening
Nauseated = To be feeling, or having been caused to feel nausea.

Ok, so let's put a scene together, the first conversation will be between a proper person, and an improper grammarist...(Wait, that is improper grammarism ((DOUBLE OFFENSE))) Ok, not what I said there.

 Here are the scenarios:

Improper Person: I feel nauseous!!

Proper Person: Really? I thought you were quite pleasant!

Scenario, round two:

Improper Person: Are you nauseous?

Proper Person: What?!?!? Why would you ask something like that? You have known me for so long, and you ask now?

Scenario, round three:

Proper Person: I'm nauseated! Call 911!!!

Improper Person: What does that mean?? What is "nauseated"?

Proper Person: *Passes Out*

Improper Person: I asked you a question and you don't respond, and instead try to play the victim?

Proper Person: *Dies*

Ok, that last one is HIGHLY unlikely, but you get the point, right?

Goodbye folks! I done gotta go now, so may Christ's peace be with you!!!!
